  • What is Binary Options?
Binary Options refer to a general name given for assets that are traded upon a given expiry time. There is a fixed percentage as payout, which is determined at the onset of a contract. It is a rewarding financial instrument that involves only two outcomes, where a successful trade or an option expiring “in the money” yields up to an 85% payout. Up to a 15% return is given for “out of the money”.
  • What is the difference of Binary Options from Traditional Options?
With this method there is a fixed payout as compared to Traditional Options where the payout increases as the value of assets also increase. An expiry time is also involved where traders either sell or buy options. In Traditional Options, there is no obligation to sell or buy the assets within a specified period.
  • What is a Call option?
This refers to one of two outcomes that a trader executes. It expresses a prediction that the price of an underlying asset will increase as the expiry time ends.
  • What is a Put option?
This is one of two outcomes executed. It is an estimation that the price of the underlying asset will go down or depreciates at the end of the expiry. When the price ends at the same price when the option expires, the investment amount is given back to the trader.
  • How Is An Investment Initiated?
To start an investment, you need to select from the “Call” or “Put” button for the underlying asset you want to trade on. An amount will be required from you; this will serve as your investment amount. You will then be asked to validate the information entered. After your confirmation, the transaction will then be executed.
  • What is an Underlying Asset?
This refers to the main four categories that are commonly involved: Commodities, Currency, Indices and Stocks. Investors benefit from the fluctuating market prices at expiry time that occurs with the underlying asset.
  • What is an expiry time?
Predetermined at the onset of the contract, this refers to the date and time that an underlying asset expires.
  • What happens when the price of the underlying asset closes above the strike price I have selected prior to expiration?
To trigger a payout, the price of the underlying asset needs to close at or above the strike price you have selected.
